We Both Got WoW Forever Beta Access! Our Press Coverage Starts Today

We have exciting news to share with the New Format community: both of us, Kamil and Dawid Prochazka, have received access to the World of Warcraft: Forever beta. Today, October 10, 2026, we are beginning work on our own hands-on gaming journalism coverage, editorial previews and press materials.

Two Brothers, One Adventure in Azeroth

As brothers and content creators, we have spent years following the Warcraft universe. Being able to explore the beta together gives us a chance to combine our shared enthusiasm for World of Warcraft with our work in gaming media.

This is an opportunity to test the game from two perspectives, compare our experiences and bring readers original reporting rather than only repeating announcements.

What Will We Be Covering?

Our planned reporting will focus on first impressions, character creation and levelling, new locations, dungeon cooperation, combat and progression changes, graphics and performance, professions, and bugs encountered during our sessions.

We will document what we actually experience, paying particular attention to the balance between the atmosphere of classic Azeroth and the new features proposed for Forever.

Our Press Materials Start Today

Today we begin collecting notes and preparing hands-on articles, screenshots, gameplay observations and potential video material. We want our coverage to be useful to longtime World of Warcraft fans and curious newcomers alike.

Every article will distinguish official Blizzard announcements from our personal gameplay impressions. Since this is a beta, mechanics, performance and available features can still change.

Why This Beta Matters

World of Warcraft: Forever aims to revisit the foundations of Azeroth with a renewed focus on discovery, cooperation and character progression. Its beta began on September 17, 2026, and is scheduled to finish October 21, ahead of the planned November 4 launch.

Testing at this stage is particularly interesting because it gives players a close look at systems that may still be tuned before release.

Follow Our Journey

Over the coming days, we plan to share more detailed reporting on the areas we explore, what impresses us and what we believe could still be improved. We will also be developing visual editorial material to accompany our coverage.

Two brothers. Two adventurers. One journey through Azeroth. Our WoW: Forever beta coverage starts today. For Azeroth!

Editorial disclosure: Both authors report having beta access. This is independent editorial coverage by New Format, not an official Blizzard announcement or endorsement. Beta access does not necessarily imply press accreditation. The cover image is AI-generated editorial artwork, not an actual photograph or gameplay screenshot.
