The world of Warcraft has inspired generations of players, storytellers and fantasy enthusiasts. At New Format, that inspiration has grown into an ambitious independent literary project: Warcraft Forever: Legacy of Azeroth.
We are delighted to present two editions of this expansive work: the complete 750-page Polish original, Warcraft Forever: Dziedzictwo Azeroth, and an English editorial edition bringing together material from the entire original manuscript. This project combines fantasy storytelling, character-driven chronicles, class specialisations, original quests and extensive campaign worldbuilding.
A New Journey Through Azeroth
What happens when history itself can no longer be trusted? At the heart of Warcraft Forever lies the mysterious First Chronicle, a record threatened by disappearances, contradictory memories and the manipulation of truth. Across distant lands, extraordinary characters encounter forgotten artefacts, ancient orders, dangerous secrets and difficult moral decisions.
Their journeys explore memory, loyalty, sacrifice and power — and the consequences of choosing truth when deception offers an easier path. Rather than telling one isolated adventure, the novel creates an interconnected fantasy world in which multiple heroes contribute to a much larger story.

Roghan — Warrior: a journey shaped by honour, conflict and the burden of leadership. Seraphine — Paladin: a defender confronting moral dilemmas and the limits of justice. Naerys — Hunter: an investigator navigating dangerous lands and unreliable testimony.
Maren — Rogue: a shadow-walker searching for hidden truths. Elira — Priest: a spiritual figure whose decisions affect the fate of witnesses and communities. Varek — Shaman: a hero guided by elemental forces and difficult choices.
Sereth — Mage: a scholar confronting magical mysteries and unstable memories. Vasheryn — Warlock: a practitioner of forbidden powers facing the consequences of knowledge. Additional chronicles expand the narrative through druids, necromancers, bards, inventors, knights and other specialised characters.
More Than a Traditional Fantasy Novel
Warcraft Forever also explores the creative possibilities of combining literature with role-playing game design. Readers will discover original class abilities, specialisation systems, skill trees, quest concepts and campaign scenarios.
Character chronicles explore individual heroes, their relationships, motivations and decisions. Class specialisations provide original ability concepts with mechanics, limitations and progression ideas. Campaign material includes quest structures, branching decisions, dialogue concepts, locations and consequences. Worldbuilding adds historical records, hidden organisations, mysterious objects and interconnected regional stories. Role-playing inspiration offers encounters and narrative material for creative RPG development.

The English Editorial Edition — 862 Pages
For international readers, New Format has assembled Warcraft Forever: Legacy of Azeroth — Collector’s Edition. This English editorial edition combines eight working volumes into one document covering material from all 750 pages of the Polish original. The compiled PDF contains 862 pages, including introductory material.
The English edition is an extensive editorial adaptation, not yet a fully verified sentence-by-sentence translation of the Polish manuscript. Some sections have been condensed or restructured, and the definitive literary translation remains under development.
