GAMESCOM AWARDS 2026 — ALL WINNERS
The Games That Ruled Gamescom 2026
Cologne, Germany — August 28, 2026
Gamescom 2026 has officially crowned its winners.
The gamescom award 2026 recognised the games, announcements, presentations, booths and experiences that made the biggest impression during this year’s event.
Across 19 categories, the winners were selected through a combination of an expert international jury and community voting.
And while METRO 2039 entered the competition as the most-nominated game, the final results produced several different winners across the major categories. (gamescom)

🎮 WHAT THIS MEANS FOR NEW FORMAT
The Gamescom Awards give us another useful way to organise our Gamescom coverage.
Instead of simply asking:
“What games were shown?”
we can now ask:
“Which games actually won?”
That gives readers an easy way to discover the titles that impressed the Gamescom jury and visitors.
And importantly, several winners already have dedicated coverage on New Format, while others can become new articles.
GAMESCOM 2026 HAS ITS WINNERS.
Now the question is:
WHICH OF THESE WINNERS WILL STILL BE TALKED ABOUT WHEN THE GAMES ACTUALLY RELEASE?
