The next Gamescom 2026 title not currently published on the NewFormat blog is Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. I checked the current NewFormat Gamescom articles first; the title does not appear in the published list.

The sequel received a fresh trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live, just hours after its worldwide launch on August 25.

🔥 RETURN TO THE ALIEN UNIVERSE

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is a third-person cooperative survival shooter developed by Cold Iron Studios and published by Daybreak Game Company, in collaboration with 20th Century Games.

Players become Colonial Marines sent into some of the most dangerous locations in the Alien universe.

This time, squads can consist of up to four players.
