🎭 PERSONA 4 REVIVAL — THE CLASSIC RETURNS AT GAMESCOM 2026

One of the most anticipated JRPGs at Gamescom 2026 is Persona 4 Revival, the full remake of Atlus’ acclaimed Persona 4.

The game is being showcased at Gamescom as part of SEGA’s lineup, with a hands-on demo available to visitors. It is also featured in the Xbox @ Gamescom Broadcast on August 26.

🌟 A NEW GENERATION OF PERSONA 4

Persona 4 Revival takes the story and core gameplay of the original Persona 4 and rebuilds it for modern platforms.

The story once again takes players to the quiet Japanese town of Inaba, where a series of mysterious murders becomes connected to the strange Midnight Channel.

Players will investigate the mystery while attending school, developing relationships and entering the supernatural TV world.

📺 THE MIDNIGHT CHANNEL RETURNS

The central mystery remains one of the game’s biggest attractions.

At night, rumours spread about a mysterious television broadcast known as the Midnight Channel.

The investigation eventually leads the protagonist and his friends into a strange alternate world filled with Shadows, dungeons and dangerous battles.

The remake is designed to make these locations significantly more detailed and immersive than they were in the original game.

⚔️ TURN-BASED COMBAT RETURNS

Persona 4 Revival keeps the series’ distinctive turn-based RPG combat.

Players will:

Persona 4 is not only about fighting monsters.

A large part of the experience takes place in everyday life.

One of the most important aspects of Persona 4 Revival’s Gamescom appearance is that the game is playable at the SEGA booth.

Gamescom visitors can therefore experience the remake directly rather than simply watching a trailer.

The game is also part of SEGA’s broader Gamescom lineup alongside titles such as:
