The next title we can cover is Silver Palace: House of Greed. It appeared in the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 lineup with a new trailer, and I don’t find it among the NewFormat Gamescom articles we’ve covered so far.

🏯 ENTER THE SILVER PALACE

Silver Palace: House of Greed is a dark fantasy action RPG set in a mysterious world where wealth, power and supernatural forces are closely connected.

The new Gamescom trailer gave us a deeper look at the game’s world and atmosphere.

Expect:

⚔️ Fast-paced action combat
🏯 Mysterious fantasy cities
👹 Supernatural enemies
✨ Special abilities
🧩 Exploration and investigation
💰 A story centred around greed and power
🌑 A dark, atmospheric setting

💰 GREED IS AT THE HEART OF THE STORY

The title itself gives away one of the game’s central themes.

The House of Greed suggests a world where wealth isn’t simply a background element — it is connected to the supernatural forces shaping the story.

The Silver Palace represents a place where ambition, power and corruption collide.

⚔️ ACTION RPG COMBAT

The gameplay combines exploration with direct action combat.

Players will need to:

⚔️ Master different attacks

✨ Use special abilities

🛡️ Avoid enemy attacks

👹 Fight supernatural creatures

🧩 Investigate the world around them

The combat appears to be designed around fast reactions and aggressive encounters rather than traditional turn-based RPG mechanics.

🌑 A WORLD OF MYSTERY

The visual direction is one of the game’s strongest elements.

The trailer presents a world filled with:

🏯 Ornate architecture

🌙 Dark streets

✨ Supernatural phenomena

👹 Strange creatures

🕯️ Mysterious interiors

The result is a setting that feels simultaneously elegant and threatening.

🎬 GAMESCOM 2026

Silver Palace: House of Greed was among the titles featured during Opening Night Live on August 25, 2026, receiving a new trailer alongside numerous other Gamescom announcements.

It was one of the more mysterious reveals because the presentation focused heavily on the game’s atmosphere and world rather than explaining every gameplay system.

🔥 WHY IT’S WORTH WATCHING

The combination is intriguing:

🏯 Dark fantasy

⚔️ Action RPG

💰 Greed and power

👹 Supernatural enemies

✨ Mystery

🌑 Atmospheric world

It could be an interesting choice for players looking for a darker alternative to the many large-scale fantasy RPGs currently in development.

🏯 ENTER THE PALACE

A city built on wealth.

A palace hiding dark secrets.
