Gamescom 2026 has entered the final hours of its fourth public day, with the show floor continuing to attract visitors across Koelnmesse.

Since our previous update at 2:00 PM, the afternoon programme has shifted towards live community shows, competitive gaming, creator events and preparations for one of the biggest community moments of the day — the Gamescom Cosplay Contest Final.

🕑 14:00 — THE AFTERNOON PROGRAMME CONTINUES

The Gamescom exhibition remains fully active, with visitors continuing to explore the major publisher booths and playable demonstrations.

At the FYNG stage in Hall 7, the afternoon programme moved into “Unterwegs auf der Messe”, taking viewers directly onto the Gamescom show floor.

🎭 14:00 — COSPLAY VILLAGE TAKES THE SPOTLIGHT

The Cosplay Village has also become one of the busiest community areas this afternoon.

The programme gives visitors an opportunity to learn more about the creative and technical side of cosplay directly from experienced creators. (gamescom⁠)

The Cosplay Village continues throughout the afternoon with performances, talks and meet-and-greet sessions.

🎮 14:30 — THE RETURN OF A LEGEND

The FYNG stage in Hall 7 continued its programme with:

The event is part of the creator-focused Gamescom programme and is followed by a dedicated sim-racing competition.

🏎️ 15:00 — SIM-RACING TAKES OVER

As the afternoon progresses, competitive gaming becomes increasingly prominent across the show floor.

The FYNG Simracing Challenge begins at 15:30 and runs until 17:00.

At the same time, Samsung’s Gamescom programme moves into its SSD Upgrade Challenge, scheduled from 15:00–16:00 in Hall 9.

Samsung has already hosted the Odyssey Showdown: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 earlier in the afternoon, running from 13:30 to 15:00. (gamescom⁠)

🎮 15:00 — CALL OF DUTY SHOWDOWN CONCLUDES

The Samsung Odyssey stage has spent much of the afternoon focused on competitive gaming.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Odyssey Showdown ran from:

before the programme transitioned into the SSD Upgrade Challenge.

🎤 15:00 — COSPLAY VILLAGE CONTINUES

The Cosplay Village remains active with Tales off the Script, whose programme runs from 15:00 to 17:00.

At the same time, visitors can meet Takeo Ischi during a dedicated meet-and-greet session from 15:00 to 16:00.

At 16:00, Gamescom’s signing area in Hall 11.2 hosts a meet-and-greet with creator and streamer:

With the afternoon approaching its climax, attention is increasingly turning towards the Gamescom Cosplay Contest Final.

The final takes place today at:

at the Event Arena | Social Stage in Hall 1.
