COLOGNE IS OFFICIALLY OPEN — DAY 2 BEGINS

Gamescom 2026 has officially entered Day 2, with the exhibition floor opening in Cologne for the first full trade and media day.

After last night’s Opening Night Live, attention has now shifted from the big stage to the exhibition halls, where developers, publishers and media are getting hands-on access to some of the biggest upcoming games.

Today is particularly important because many titles that were only shown through trailers last night are now being played, demonstrated and discussed directly on the show floor.

The official Gamescom programme confirms that August 26 is Trade Visitor and Media Day, making today more industry-focused than the public days later this week.

🟢 XBOX TAKES OVER HALL 7

One of the biggest attractions is the Xbox booth in Hall 7, featuring 25 upcoming games and 140 gaming stations.

Visitors can get hands-on with games including:
