And we’ll give every major rumour a probability estimate.

🟢 1. WORLD OF WARCRAFT — WHAT’S NEXT?

CONFIRMED

World of Warcraft has multiple major appearances at BlizzCon, including World of Warcraft: What’s Next, plus a second WoW presentation on the official schedule. (BlizzCon⁠)

That alone makes WoW one of the safest bets for major announcements.

But what exactly is coming?

🔥 THE LAST TITAN

The biggest retail WoW question is obviously The Last Titan.

The community has already connected rumours about Northrend to the upcoming expansion.

An alleged leak specifically claimed:

“World of Warcraft: Exploring Northrend”

However, the leaked schedule itself has now been contradicted by Blizzard’s official schedule.

So:

Northrend / The Last Titan reveal

Not confirmed — but absolutely one of the most logical things Blizzard could show.

🟩 2. WORLD OF WARCRAFT CLASSIC+

This is arguably the biggest rumour surrounding BlizzCon 2026.

For years, players have wanted a version of Classic WoW that doesn’t simply continue through the original expansion timeline.

Now there are multiple pieces of community speculation surrounding a potential new Classic project.

One alleged internal codename repeatedly mentioned by the community is:

PROJECT CAMELOT

Some datamining and community reports have connected “Camelot” with the Classic branch, although Blizzard has never officially announced it as a product.

Meanwhile, Classic-focused creators have reportedly been involved in Blizzard-related activities under NDA, further fueling speculation. (Wowhead⁠)

And now there are even fresh community reports claiming that several creators were involved in a possible Classic+ demo showcase.

Nothing here is official.

But the amount of smoke is getting difficult to ignore.

This is one of the most interesting names from the alleged leak.

The anonymous schedule claimed:

Warcraft Fables — Deep Dive

The community immediately connected this to Classic+.

But there is a major problem:

The alleged schedule never actually says that Warcraft Fables = Classic+.

That connection was made by the community.

The name itself remains unconfirmed.

🟨 4. STARCRAFT — THE RETURN?

Now we’re entering potentially explosive territory.

A name has been circulating:

STARCRAFT INFANTRY

The alleged schedule claimed that Blizzard would reveal:

StarCraft Infantry — Deep Dive

followed by:

StarCraft Infantry — World & Lore

This has naturally led to speculation that Blizzard is preparing a new StarCraft shooter.

And here’s where things get interesting.

The existence of a StarCraft shooter has independent reporting behind it, dating back well before this particular leak.

But there is currently no confirmation that:

StarCraft Infantry = that project.

The specific name appears to originate with the alleged leak.

Don’t forget what StarCraft actually is.

The franchise has been dormant as a major new-release franchise for years.

A return doesn’t necessarily have to be a shooter.

or simply something that doesn’t exist.

Diablo is officially part of the BlizzCon programme.

🚨 THE BIGGEST QUESTION

The anonymous leak that started all of this has been heavily scrutinised.

It claimed:

But the official schedule now looks very different.

That means we should NOT call the leaked schedule real.

However…

That doesn’t automatically mean that every idea inside it is fake.

Some of these rumours existed independently of the leaked image.

And THAT is where things get interesting.
