How can I play Farcana?
You can download the PC version of Farcana on the Epic Games Store(Opens in new tab) and play for free when the game is released. Or install it from directly from the Epic Games launcher. Farcana is available exclusively for the PC on Epic Games Store.
We plan to have Farcana playtests once in a while: keep following the news to participate!

Is Farcana free to play?
Yes, you can download and play Farcana for free. The game won't have any paid items that affect the gameplay and balance. Moreover, you will be able to earn game items and progress battlepass without paying anything.
However, we plan to introduce Premium Battlepass tiers and Premium cosmetic items that will be only purchasable with real currency. But again, these in-app purchases are purely cosmetic and won't affect gameplay.
Are there In-App Purchases?
Yes, Farcana is free to play, but features In-App Purchases for cosmetic items.
Are there items (such as additional content, offers or currency) for sale that are used in the gameplay of your product?
No, all in-app purchases are purely cosmetic and don't affect gameplay.
Can your product be used without making any in-app purchases?
Yes, you can play Farcana for free. In-app purchases are not required for gameplay and don't provide any advantages.
Are in-app purchases refundable?
No.
What payment platform is used to facilitate these purchases? Do you use Epic Games’ platform or a 3rd-party (including your own) payment system?
We will use Epic Games’ platform payment system to purchase the in-game Premium currency. This Premium currency is then used in the game to pay for items.
What is Farcana playtest? When is it?
We will be having game playtests on Epic Games Store once in a while. During this time you can download and play the game for free, and there will be no in-game monetization of any kind. We will also grant some exclusive cosmetic rewards to everyone who will participate in the playtests.
More details about the rewards and exact playtest dates will come soon! The goal of the playtest is to get your feedback and stress-test our server infrastructure, so we apologize beforehand if something doesn't work, if there are lags, matchmaking issues, etc.

I heard that Facana would have NFTs and blockchain, is it true?
We indeed had plans to feature blockchain in the game, but later decided against it. Farcana doesn't have any blockchain features at the moment.
The game will be completely free to play with in-app purchases, and those will be purely cosmetic.
What are the Founder packs?
We plan to offer paid founder packs with Premium currency, unique character skins, titles and other cosmetic items on the Epic Games Store during the playtest and before the game release. Thus, these packs will be available for purchase for a limited time, but will contain really unique rewards.
However, keep in mind that all content in the founder packs will be available in the game only after its release, not during the playtest! We will also have this information in the description of each founder pack so there's no confusion.
Will Farcana have achievements?
Yes! There are one time challenges in the game, and they will also be achievements on the Epic Games Store.
However, during the playtest neither challenges nor achievements won't be available. This functionality will be introduced with the game release.
When and in which territories will Farcana be released?
We plan to release the game within a year in select territories. These will include Europe, Middle East, North African and some Asian countries.
This has to do with server infrastructure: we want you, our players, to have the best possible gameplay experience, which includes minimal server latency (ping).
We plan to add game serves in North and South Americas, and Oceania later. We are sorry we cannot have a worldwide release, but we are not a huge company, and there's only so many things we can do at once.
